Good morning\u00a0Ladies and Gentlemen,<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Welcome, everyone to our Third \u2026World Festival of Vietnamese Traditional Music.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

It took 2 years to prepare for this musical event. Many dedicated members in different countries, have spent countless number of days in planning, organizing, promoting and volunteering to make\u00a0this festival a\u00a0very, very\u00a0special event for all of us. All of us are volunteers. When someone asks a question:\u00a0if you do this for free then why do you do it?<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The answer is a very simple one: we\u00a0do\u00a0it for\u00a0love, we\u00a0do\u00a0it because we want to\u00a0honor the past\u00a0and we\u00a0do\u00a0it because we want to\u00a0share our passion with the future generation.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

On behalf of <\/span><\/b>Tre Viet ensemble, Huong Viet Performing Arts group,Phuong Ca dan ca quoc nhac Paris, Vietnam band, Phuong Ca Oslo, Huong Xua, Lac Viet band, Back to Back Zithers, Golden Bamboo ensemble , Dang Thao ensemble, Vietnamese Artists union of Australia\u2026the<\/span><\/b>\u00a0professors,\u00a0<\/span><\/b>the supporters, our distinguished guests<\/span><\/b>, p<\/span><\/b>lease allow me\u00a0<\/span><\/b>the opportunity to express my gratitude and honor at the opening of this\u00a0W<\/span><\/b>orld\u00a0<\/span><\/b>F<\/span><\/b>estival of Vietnamese Traditional\u00a0Music<\/span><\/b>.\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a0After\u00a0<\/span><\/b>much\u00a0<\/span><\/b>success in Toronto, Canada\u00a0in\u00a0201<\/span><\/b>1,\u00a0<\/span><\/b>then\u00a0Seattle USA in 2013, this year 2015 we are connecting the greater Vietnamese diaspora through\u00a0<\/span><\/b>promotion and knowledge of\u00a0<\/span><\/b>Vietnamese traditional music to the wide world<\/span><\/b>\u00a0from Sydney<\/span><\/b>,<\/span><\/b> Australia.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/b>On this occasion, I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the\u00a0Australian National University School of Music<\/a>,\u00a0 Vietnam Foundation<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0the\u00a0 University Preparation College Australia<\/a> for hosting this important event.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

I also have a very important announcement to make: the next World Festival of Vietnamese Traditional Music will take place in Paris \u2013 France in 2017.<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Now I would like\u00a0<\/span><\/b>to\u00a0<\/span><\/b>welcome all of our honored guests congregated here and wish all a pleasant stay among us and success in\u00a0<\/span><\/b>your<\/span><\/b> work<\/span><\/b>, and\u00a0<\/span><\/b>last but not the least,\u00a0<\/span><\/b>I<\/span><\/b>\u00a0would like to extend our deepest gratitude and sincere thanks to all the role players that have made it possible for th<\/span><\/b>is<\/span><\/b>\u00a0dream to become a reality. The next 3 days in Sydney are very special for all of us.
